Temporal compositing is a general technique used in optical remote sensing. Daily observations are composited into the temporal domain to generate proper images, e.g. to acquire cloud-free images.
The N-daily compositor interface has been deprecated at the end of 2021 and has not be replaced by any user interface. However, compositing images is now supported by OpenEO. Examples of using OpenEO to composite images are available on OpenEO's Github page:
- Simple compositing (https://github.com/Open-EO/openeo-python-client/blob/master/examples/notebooks/SimpleCompositor.ipynb)
- Advanced compositing (https://github.com/Open-EO/openeo-python-client/blob/master/examples/notebooks/Compositing.ipynb)
